MotoGuzzi Griso 1200 8V "Animanera" (Black Soul)
"Many years ago I built a motorcycle called ANIMA,- Filippo Barbacane says - it was one of the first extreme specials based on Moto Guzzi, with 1100 2v engine and a Ghezzi & Brian frame. I liked the idea of making a new ANIMA, a bike that had the colors exactly opposite my first one.
Griso is a motorcycle that has been in production for several years now. I have built many specials on this basis. It is difficult to create something original on a motorcycle that is already very special, very special. The very difficult thing is to make a special bike that is already unique.
For some time I had in mind a somewhat extreme project, a bad and aggressive bike, but at the same time elegant. This is a time when vintage specials make it a master, but the Griso is a black-soul motorcycle, with modern shapes...."
